Accufine is a medicine which is used to treat severe acne. It contains Isotretinoin which is a known retinoid.

Accufine medicine comes in the form of soft gelatin capsules, which are to be taken orally with water.

What to do if you miss a Dose of Accufine?

In case you remember that you have missed a dose within an hour of your stipulated time, then you can take it.

If it almost time for your next dose, just jump the dose which has been missed.

Please avoid taking double doses as it may lead you to some serious consequences.

Please refrain from using Accufine if you are using any of the medication listed below:

• Birth Control pills
• Vitamin A
• Retinoids
• Phenytoin
• Tetracycline
• Bexarotene

No serious side-effects have been observed by most people who have used Accufine for their acne treatment.

But as each person may react differently to a given medication or dosage, please go through the list of possible side effects which may be observed after the ingestion of the medication.

The following side-effects may be experienced if you use Accufine Capsules:

• Slight swelling of lips
• Swellings of the eyelids

• Stomach ache
• Hair fall

If you experience any of the symptoms written above, call your doctor immediately. You may face critical health hazards if these conditions are not treated on time.

There have been no harsh allergic reaction reports encountered due to the use of Accufine.

But exceptions do exist, so here’s a list of some allergic reactions that may be critical for your health:

• Rashes on the skin
• Swelling of the tongue
• Itching
• Extreme dizziness
• Inability to breathe properly

We cannot stress it enough them, everyone may have a different reaction to the Accufine medications due to several deciding factors like age, weight, and past medical history.

So, if you experience any symptom which is not listed as a side effect here but is not normal for your body, by all means, consult your doctor. It’s the safest route to ensure the safety of your health.

Warnings and Precautions:

• It is counseled that you do not use Accufine capsules during pregnancy and lactation as it may lead to some complications with your pregnancy. It is also generally discouraged during lactation. But you may take more specific guidance from your doctor.

• Accufine is also hazardous to your health if you use it with alcohol. If these medications are combined with Alcohol, you may experience some of the following effects:
• Skin going red
• Nausea
• Rapid heartbeats
• People who have any diseases or medical conditions related to the liver should abstain from using Accufine capsules.
• Do not subject your acne-prone skin (while on Accufine treatment) to treatments like laser hair removal or face waxing as it may make your skin more susceptible to develop adverse effects.

Storage Information:

Accufine capsules are to be kept in a place that is not wet or full of moisture. Do not put them in the kitchen or the bathroom. The ideal temperature would be 15-30 degrees Celsius. (59-86 degree Fahrenheit)
